pieeye > I've passed that onto the priceteam
neebs > I welcome constructive critasism as it is the only way to go forwards... however, when a site has as many visitors as this one, we have to consider the majority over the individual. The tagwall and item database have been paged because they was too large for one page... I have added filters to the item page to help you find what you are looking for. The a-b-c index is not a good idea as we already have a keywords search... if you're looking for griswold items you can just type 'gris' in there and there you go. You can further limit your search buy saying i want a unique sword with keyword griswold, That should only return one item. There should never be a need to display more than 20 items on a page, it gets too confusing, looks messy and is unecessary bandwidth. I will always listen to suggestions tho so if you have any other ideas let me know :)

Hi, thanx for a great site. Its often a very helpful tool in the art of trading! :) Although,... why on earth have u chopped it up in peaces? The way it was before was so much better. Its not an approvement what uve done, its a huge misstake. Making the search index not convenient and easy instead of having all items listen on the first page. And if u were to break it up in peaces, why numbers??.. Why not letters? A-B-C etc.. ?? Change back to the way it was is my suggestion, besides that, fantastic page and a job well done guys! ;)

deny > We don't really support that here. we play on closed battle net, hero editors are only useful to test a character build. It is not fair to play a character online that you made via a cheat, and also impossible (on closed bnet at least). I recommend you PLAY the game instead. Life would be no fun if someone lived it for you and you took over when you was 85 and about to die would it ?

Ugge, there are currently no ads on the site and at the moment this site makes no money at all... We are currently looking for sponsors tho. I would be interested to know exactly what the problem you are experiencing is tho, and if itøs related to our site, I'm very sorry. Mail me at caseus@caseus.co.uk with more details and I will try to help you resolve your problem.

  • Ugge - 03/04/2006 19:45
TY for a very helpful site! But please people...remove the ads-bomber....my firewall takes to much RAM when blocking the 1-per-minute-ads u send me. I bet u get tonbs of cash for it, but dont send so frequent.

fairplayer, I made the site, but there are many of us that maintain the information and contribute to the community... There is a team page on the site with most of our staff on there. Check it out ;) We appreciate your appreciation tho. Thanks ;)

thnx so much for the info Caseus, the game really improved alot now with your info :)

Well, a liquid layout is a layout based on "em"s and "%"s as measurement of width and sometimes even height... the general idea is to have a site that can be viewed from any viewport and where its main containers will always occupy the same amount of space... while this may be the ideal, it is insanely hard to do, and make it look nice, too, since images wont scale without pixelating, positioning issues with elements sliding into, or under, others, so on... but I do try that atm :p
  • Caseus - 29/03/2006 18:00

DeadDreamer, I have no idea what a 'liquid layout' is... but the current style sheet is 'external' and the doctype is already set to xhtml strict... Altho most pages wont validate yet as they are still being converted and updated... Some pages (like this one) may never validate as it has user entered html on it... if you make one post on an otherwise perfect page that isnt xhtaml strict, then it wont validate... so little point in trying to hard on a site this dynamic. But yes... I'm looking forwards to it too :)

  • DeadDreamer - 29/03/2006 16:36
Ooh, I see, I was already wondering if the change in font size and the kinda new table-style would be all there is as "new" design... well... then I am looking forward to it :p Maybe you could code a liquid layout in xhtml strict using an external css file so I have something to learn from? Liquid layouts = hard to code, if you want it to look good :p *g* DeadDreamer ;)

fairplayer, We do all we can to stop people being scammed but at the end of the day it's down to the indvivdual. If you're not already on IRC then get on quakenet and join #diablo2.help. We have admins there who mediate torchtrades and mules, help with diabloclone and ubers... Things like that. You can trust anyone in that chan with +/@.
