Rules

  1. Don't be lame
    It actually covers most of our rules, but for those who want it more detailed, here it is: no laming means 'don't be a jerk and say silly things', and don't do stuff that any normal person wouldn't do, such as posting links to sites with hacks, keyloggers and other shit like that.
  2. No lame/spam offer messages
    Think about making your offer neat and easy to read. Excessive use of characters like || or ** are becoming more and more common in our channels and we don't want it here. If you must spam characters like that to get attention then please do it on battle.net. From now on anyone found breaking this rule will be kicked and warned. If warnings are ignored, a ban may be applicable.
  3. No spamming
    This shouldn't be so hard to understand - do not spam on our forums or on our IRC channels.
  4. No advertising
    We do not wish to see any form of advertising in our channels, nor on our forum, and of course we don't want on-join spam either. We do not accept advertising on offer/need lists.
  5. No CD key trading
    We don't want CD key trading since most CD keys come from generators anyway, and we definately don't support hacking or any form of the so called 'warez' in our channels nor the forums.
  6. No cheats
    This means no talking about game-cheats in our channels or the forums.
  7. No bogus offers
    This means that you are not allowed to say, i.e. “"Offer 1000 290 psn charms"” if you don't have them, but just saying it because you, for some stupid reason, think it’s i fun to say stuff like that, and the same rule counts for needs too, there is no point in lying - be honest - be fair!
  8. English ONLY
    Now this rule is extremely important. Since we are an international community, we would like everybody to be able to understand eachother Therefore, all the channels and all the forums are English only.
  9. No private messaging
    Do not private message (in the gaming community better known as "qry" or "query") the admins unless you have something really important to ask or tell. It is not important for us to ask for a boost, voice status, operator status and/or prices.
  10. No away message
    No away messages, and in particular the so called "amsgs". If the message includes bold, underline or excessive uppercase letters then you will get kicked by the channel bot (RoBoTNiC). Besides that, we do not find those messages very good, so it would be nice if you could cut us some slack and try not to make so many "amsgs".
    Obviously, this rule only applies to our IRC channels.
  11. Any further policies regarding IRC
    There are a few things we would not like to see in any of our channels. These things are:
    - bolded text;
    - excessive capslock usage;
    - colors;
    - reverse;
    - underlined text.
  12. Repeating
    Repeating a sentence within ten (10) minutes will get you a kick. If you have to paste something containing more than two lines, make sure the delay between each line is more than five (5) seconds. Small changes in an essentially identical request or statement are not allowed, and will therefore be punished by the channelbot (RoBoTNiC). Spamming is not allowed, either. All of the earlier mentioned policies will be subject to punishment when we deem that necessary and according to our sense of honesty. Only two offer/need messages are allowed when your first message is too big.
  13. Posting behaviour on our forums
    You may only post one topic per trading forum. This means only one topic allowed in "Weapons", "Offer/Need lists", etc. In the chat forums it is allowed to post more than one topic as long as the topic isn't concerning the same things.
  14. Be careful while placing links
    We do not allow -nor endorse or condone- D2 item-shop URL's, and we don't allow miscellaneous D2 links. If you want to be safe, only post links from http://www.battle.net/, http://www.blizzard.com or http://www.diabloii.net, or ofcourse our very own website.
  15. No begging
    We disallow absolutely any form of begging for items, food, bouncers, accounts, or anything else. In other words, no begging what so ever.
  16. Trade Diablo II items only
    We'd rather not see people offering bouncers, servers, webspace, money, hot IP games and such for a Diablo II (LoD) item. The same goes for the other way around, you may not offer anything else than Diablo II (LoD) items. The one exception to this rule is forum gold.
  17. No eBay urls
    We'd rather not see people posting ebay urls in our channels as they sometimes contain something that has absolutely nothing to do with d2 and in many cases it leads to spam.
  18. Don't pretend to be admin/trusted
    DO NOT use our admins' nick names, DO NOT offer mule/trade help if you are not known in the channels. Scamming is a growing problem in our community and therefore we will come down as hard as possible on people breaking this rule.

  • Other Information
    Finding loopholes in our rules is not cool, and we will hit hard on the persons who enjoy doing so. Besides those rules listed above, an admin is allowed to kick or ban a person at all times if he feels it is necessary!
  • #Diablo2.help Information
    The #Diablo2 community takes no responsibility for any loss, if you use a person outside our staff to make admin-trades
